Taizé Service begins at 7:00 PM on the first Wednesday, every other month!

At North Hollywood Church of Religious Science, we believe in offering spaces where the soul can rest and reconnect. One of the most cherished experiences we share is the Taizé Prayer Service — an evening of contemplative service rooted in song, silence, and community.

What is Taizé?

Taizé prayer began in the small village of Taizé, France, and has grown into a worldwide movement of unity and peace. It is a simple yet powerful service that blends:

Meditative chants repeated in community
Extended moments of silence for prayer and reflection
An inclusive spirit, welcoming people of all traditions

Taizé invites us to quiet our minds, open our hearts, and rest in the presence of Spirit.
