A loving, confidential spiritual presence for times of illness, grief, transition, and life’s tender moments.

Our Chaplain ministry exists to offer compassionate, heart-centered support to members of our Beloved Community during times when life feels heavy, uncertain, or overwhelming. This sacred role is rooted in deep listening, spiritual presence, and the quiet assurance of love.

A Chaplain is not here to fix, teach, or give advice. Instead, the Chaplain provides a safe, confidential space where you can be seen, heard, and supported. Through prayerful presence and compassionate attention, the Chaplain holds the high watch when you may have forgotten the view, gently reminding you of the spiritual truth that love is always at work.

How our Chaplain can Support your Spiritual Practice:

• “Coffee, Cake & Chocolate with the Chaplain” – monthly on the first Wednesday at 12:30 pm in the Ernest Holmes Chapel – A relaxed time for conversation, connection, and spiritual companionship.

• Wednesday Evening Healing Service – Available for Prayer support at the Service on the first and third Wednesday of each month.

• Weekly Office Hours at NHCRS – A space to explore your Spiritual Practice, celebrate when it’s humming along, and receive support when you encounter spiritual bumps in the road. (Appointments by Request)

• Pastoral Care Ministry – Bringing the Science of Mind to your healing state of Grace at home and in a medical setting.

The Chaplain also works in collaboration with our ministers and practitioners, serving as a bridge to additional spiritual or professional resources when appropriate.

This ministry is a living expression of our commitment to oneness, compassion, and spiritual care—so that no one in our community has to walk through life’s challenges alone.
