Rev. Christine Peña was first drawn to New Thought teachings in the mid-1980s. She became a Religious Science Practitioner in 1998 and after years of service at the Agape International Spiritual Center followed the call to ministry, graduating in 2020 with a Master’s degree in Consciousness Studies. In 2021 she was recognized as an Agape Master Practitioner, and in 2023 she became a dually licensed minister with Centers for Spiritual Living.

 

She has more than a decade of experience in pastoral care, having served on staff at Agape as the Administrator of the One From The Heart Ministry.

Earlier in her career she worked at Holmes Institute (now the School of Spiritual Leadership), helping transition the ministerial program from a two-year fellowship to a three-year master’s degree program.

As a writer, teacher, speaker, and spiritual counselor, Rev. Christine supports those she serves in expanding consciousness through spiritual practice, offering a unique combination of wisdom and humor. A lifelong Southern Californian, she loves cats, chats, and long walks to anywhere someone else will do the dishes.
