Rev. Christine Peña is a CSL minister who received her license in July of 2023. She became a Religious Science practitioner in 1998 and was trained as a minister at the Agape International Spiritual Center graduating in 2020 with a Master of Consciousness Studies degree. In June of 2021 she was honored to be given recognition as a Master Practitioner for her 23 years of experience and service to the spiritual community.

Rev. Christine has over a decade of experience in Pastoral Care and served on staff at Agape as the Administrator of the One From The Heart ministry. While on staff, her nickname became “Jalapeña” because as Dr. Michael Beckwith said, “She’s HOT for God!” Also in her professional career, she served as the Coordinator at Holmes Institute, now called the School of Spiritual Leadership, helping to craft the ministerial program when it moved from a 2-year fellowship to a 3-year master’s degree program.

Rev. Christine is a writer, teacher, dynamic speaker, and she has a private counseling practice lovingly supporting her clients with a passion for the transformative power of prayer. She is delighted to serve as a Staff Minister at the North Hollywood Church of Religious Science where she received her letter of call in June of 2024.

Rev. Christine is that rare species known as a native Southern Californian, having lived in Los Angeles most of her life. She lives with her animal companions, Na’ilah Rose, and Yardley the Yard Tiger. She loves cats, chats, and long walks to any place where someone else will do the dishes.
