- Originally from a New Jersey suburban town near NYC, I grew up going the motions of attending a Presbyterian church. When I was eight, I gave up on church and God after my Sunday school teacher told our class that if we didn't accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we'd be going to hell. After years of a being a 'devout' Agnostic and going through some troubled times, I attended a week-long personal growth retreat in Napa Valley. There I met a woman who interested me to Science of Mind. Upon my return to LA (where I've lived for the past 20 years), I found the North Hollywood Church of Religious Science. Within a year, I started taking classes and obtained my Practitioner License in 2007.
Ironically, I am now a teacher in and the Director of the Youth Center.

if there is no conflict we'll both be there on Sunday Aug 23. If my memory
serves me one event is the Aug 21 and the other Aug 22 (and one of them
has been postponed until October). Will confirm tomorrow.
