- Heard Rev. Hornaday and Rev. Chang on radio at a very challenging time in my life. I am a recovered alcoholic and when I told an AA friend about hearing this fabulous radio program, she told me she was a member of the Hollywood church. I went the very next Sunday and started taking classes right away. The minister was Robert. Bitzer who was a student of Ernest Holmes and is mentioned in "The Essential Ernest".. When I started in this teaching he was 95 and was dressed to the 9's every Sunday . He had a full head of silver hair (he always like to say he had all his hair and all his teeth) and was just an amazing role model for me. He messages were clear as a bell and I wanted to be just like him when I grew up! That was over 15 years ago and this teaching has transformed my life in amazing ways.
