- My current focus now is learning how to slow down. I am amazed at how many wonderful things have been passing me by in my day to day life. I recently discovered how beautiful the canyons are coming out of the valley on the 405 S freeway. Suddenly I found my morning traffic commute, something that I used to despise wholeheartedly, as a way to simply slow down and take in my surroundings... And to my utter shock and amazement I now enjoy it!
A weight was lifted off from my shoulders when I realized that I am not alone nor do I have figure everything out myself. Living through God has given me the confidence to sing out loud, dance, laugh freely, and be happy. I have not been a part of NHCRS very long, but its message speaks to my heart and just when I fear that I'm losing sight of the heaven within me I hear a sermon that lifts me up and sets me back on track. For that I thank you.
