This is our annual Youth fund raiser to help send our Youth to their Spiritual Retreat this summer.
Food tickets $5; Drink & dessert tickets $1.
Always good food, fun and music - jump house for the kids.

- I was raised Unitarian-Universalist in the Boston area. very active in my church growing up - LRY (Liberal Religious Youth - or Leftover Raspberry Yogurt, depending on who you asked). attended many youth conferences, including Ferry Beach and Star Island. During college and beyond, became, as a friend recently said, a member of the Church of the Sunday paper. Didn't really think about organized religion much until I had my first child, and realized that I really admired the strong faith that my husband, Thomas, has, and knew there was something missing for me. When we moved to N. Hollywood, I looked at the UU church in Studio City, but didn't get the right feeling. We were great friends with David & Candace Snyder (he was the music director at NHCRS at the time), and they recommended NHCRS. The first day we came, Dr. Mark had a white blonde crew cut, and was expounding on the Wizard of Oz from a Metaphysical perspective. When he got to the part about "no matter what your journey, always be sure you have a fabulous pair of shoes", I was convinced that I had found my spiritual home!
We have rarely missed a Sunday since, and I am very happy to be involved with this fantastic church. I have spent time in the Junior Center, taken several classes, and designed the lighting system in the new church building. I love working in and around the church, and getting to know people. I'm constantly surprised by how many people I don't know!

Toot Sweet Gourmets for God - More Tickets Available!!!
Because the fabulous band, Vaud & the Villains (starring Tom Silcott) has agreed to play at our GFG, we are opening up 15 more seats to anyone interested. Tickets are $25. The band is incredible, and the food is going to be great! I'm making the Orange cake with buttercream frosting & fresh fruit again, along with Date Bars, Peanut Butter Pie, and Banana Nilla wafer pudding. A catering friend of mine is donating 6 dozen cookies! it's sure to be a delicious and energetic evening!
