- I attended a Presbyterian church as a child and into early teens. Sometime in the early ninety's a girlfriend told me about the Science of Mind magazine. I had been subscribing to Unity magazine. I found the North Hollywood Church through The Science of Mind magazine and have been attending ever since. I know that this choice has been very good for me. Since my dear husband has been diagnosed with a serious pulmonary condition in Nov, 2008 I don't think I could go on without remembering I am a part of a spiritual universe. I either sink, or swim with spirit.
